Finding the right personal trainer
Belfast has some excellent personal trainers - some of whom operate from gyms, some will operate from community centres while others like Routine Fitness will come to provide training in your home, office or community space. When looking around for personal trainers, it is important that you spend some time to find the right one for you. All personal trainers have their own style and personality. Most personal trainers also offer a free consultation and often offer classes.
You will probably get a feel for the service that they offer from their website, but it is also worth making the most of using the free consultation to ensure that you are comfortable with your trainer. If you are a member of a gym, check the profiles of personal trainers in your gym and watch their manner with other clients that they are training. If you don't like any of the trainers, it may be worth consulting with a mobile personal trainer to train with you in your home to supplement your gym based routines.
If you are not a member of gym, look for mobile personal trainers who can train you in your home or office. Some gym based personal trainers will also be able to train you in the gym, but may need to charge you a day access charge to allow you access to the gym.
Remember that the personal trainer will be responsible for guiding you on the journey to achieve your goals, so it is important that you feel comfortable with him or her. Make sure that your trainer understands your needs and works to achieving your goals.
You should also make sure that your trainer is REPS registered and that they are insured.
Routine Fitness is registered with REPS (Registration number: R0123258) as well as with the National Register of Personal Trainers. Insurance is held with NRPT.
